New lending fully secured by residential mortgage rose to NZ$8.68 billion in March from NZ$6.99 billion in the previous month.
Personal consumer new lending increased to NZ$259 million from NZ$223 million. New lending for business rose to NZ$4.38 billion from NZ$2.74 billion.
Lending for agricultural purposes rose to NZ$1.42 billion from NZ$854 million. Other new lending increased to NZ$384 million from NZ$250 million.
