-- GenusPlus Group (ASX:GNP) has secured a turnkey engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPC) contract worth around AU$110 million to deliver the balance of plant and a 200 megawatt system with 800 megawatt-hour of storage capacity for the Koolunga Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in South Australia, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The project will be connected to the electricity grid via a 1.2-kilometer high-voltage transmission line linking it to the 275-kilovolt Brinkworth substation, the filing said.
The construction is set to start soon, with all approvals already in place, and completion targeted for September 2027, the filing added.
The company's shares rose 2% in recent Friday trade.
