-- Delta Resources (DLTA.V) was at last look up 8% after closing the first tranche of its non-brokered private placement offering, raising near $5.8 million.
The company issued near 23.5-million charity flow-through units for $0.245 apiece as part of the offering. Each FT unit consists of one flow-through common share and one half of one non-flow-through common share purchase warrant, with each whole warrant being exercisable to buy a share for $0.28 for a period of 30 months from the date of issuance.
Proceeds raised from the issuance will be used to fund "Canadian exploration expenses".
