-- BlackBerry (BB.TO) is renewing its share buyback program, the company said on Friday.
Blackberry may buy back up to 26.8 million shares from May 12, for one year.
Under its previous normal course issuer bid, which expires on May 11, BlackBerry repurchased 18.1 million shares at a weighted average purchase price of US$3.85.
Blackberry shares were last seen up US$0.05, to US$6.15, in U.S. pre-market trading.
