-- Shinfox Energy (TPE:6806) unit Foxwell Energy has secured NT$5.56 billion in a mediation settlement with Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) over the Offshore Wind Power Phase II project dispute.
Shares jumped about 10% in Monday's afternoon trade.
The dispute arose after project costs increased due to global disruptions, including the Russia-Ukraine war and COVID-19-related inflation and interest rate hikes.
Taipower agreed to pay the amount covering disputes up to end-2025, with funds to be disbursed under its supervision, the filing said.
