-- Energy Fuels (EFR.TO) was at last look up 2.7% in US premarket on Wednesday after saying it had appointed Ross Bhappu as its chief executive officer, already effective.
Bhappu had served as president of Energy Fuels since August 2025. Bhappu succeeds Mark Chalmers, who is retiring.
Following his retirement, Chalmers will serve as an exclusive uranium and rare earth consultant to the company for a two-year period.
Shares in Energy Fuels gained 6.8% in Canada and 7.5% in the U.S. yesterday.
