Brookside Energy Secures Drill Rig for Development Drilling Program in Oklahoma Area of Interest

-- Brookside Energy (ASX:BRK) executed an IADC drilling contract with Kenai Drilling, securing Rig 18 for its upcoming development drilling program in the SWISH area of interest in the Anadarko Basin, Oklahoma, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The rig will be used to drill the next two-well development pad at the Suttles location, comprising the Sabres well and the Whalers well. Earthworks on the Suttles pad are nearing completion.

Its shares rose 1% in recent trading on Wednesday.
