Unico Silver Reduces Rigs at Argentina Drilling Operations During Transition to Winter Operations

Unico Silver (ASX:USL) said it reduced the number of drill rigs under its drilling operations in Argentina to two from three as it moves into reduced winter operations, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.The company plans to update the Joaquin project mineral resource estimate in the June quarter to incorporate recent infill drilling.In the same filing, the company said it is conducting pre-feasibility work streams, including geotechnical drilling and interpretation to define open-pit slope and design parameters, as well as comminution and metallurgical test work to confirm processing assumptions and recovery pathways.The company's shares fell past 1% in recent trading on Friday.

Ecopetrol to Buy 26% Stake in Brazil's Brava Energia

Ecopetrol SA (EC) will acquire a 26% stake in Brazil's Brava Energia from a group of investors in an effort to expand its presence in the region, with plans to increase its holding in the future, the petroleum company said Thursday.Brava, formed in 2024 through the merger of oil and gas companies 3R Petroleum and Enauta, conducts crude oil and natural gas production activities across several basins in Brazil. Vertiv Raises Outlook After Strong Q1 as Margins Improve, UBS Says

Vertiv Holdings (VRT) posted strong Q1 results and raised its full-year earnings outlook, signaling continued margin expansion and solid growth momentum, UBS Securities said Wednesday in a note.The company lifted its full-year adjusted earnings per share guidance to about $6.35 at the midpoint, 4% above consensus estimates, helped by 2% higher organic sales and an 80-basis-point improvement in adjusted operating margin, UBS said. The updated outlook implies incremental margins of 32%, up from 28% previously, the note said.Q1 operating results came in 10% ahead of expectations, driven largely by stronger margins, while revenue was slightly above estimates, UBS said.
