Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:We raise our target price by $40 to $325, about 30x our 2027 EPS of $10.78 (up from $9.48; 2026 EPS raised to $9.34 from $7.60). Q1 results cleared a high bar: AWS grew 28% Y/Y, a 4-pt acceleration from Q4 2025, reaching a $150B annualized run-rate versus $85B three years ago. We see further acceleration ahead, with AWS potentially exiting 2026 at a high-30s percentage growth rate, supported by the company's $364B backlog (up 49% Q/Q), a figure that does not yet incorporate the recently announced $100B+ Anthropic commitment. Growth is being led by surging demand across both custom silicon (Trainium) and CPU infrastructure (Graviton), the latter reflecting AI's ongoing shift toward inference and agentic workloads. On the retail side, unit growth has returned to pandemic-era levels as AMZN deepens its penetration of everyday essentials and grocery. AMZN posted a record 13.1% operating margin in Q1, and we see further margin inflection in 2H 2026 as Amazon Leo-related production/launch costs become capitalized.
