Auckland International Airport's Total Passenger Movements Up 6% in March
Auckland International Airport (ASX:AIA, NZE:AIA) recorded 1.7 million passenger movements in March, up 6% year on year, according to a Wednesday filing with the New Zealand bourse.Total passenger movements for the financial year to date reached 14.8 million in March, marking a 3% year-on-year increase, per the filing.Total international passenger movements rose 8% to 927,993, the filing added.Excluding transits, international passenger movements increased by 8%. International seat capacity grew 2%, resulting in average load factors of 86%, a 4.4 percentage-point increase year on year, the company said.Domestic passenger movements rose 3% to 791,057.
