BGMC International Warns of Wider Six-Month Loss
BGMC International (HKG:1693) expects an attributable loss of around 24.4 million ringgit for the six months ended Feb. 28, wider than 7 million ringgit a year prior, according to a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing.The construction and engineering firm attributed the forecast to additional liquidated ascertained damages charges incurred for projects, lower gross margins from a major building and structures project, a drop in other income, and the absence of profit from discontinued operations.
