Battery X Metals Not Renewing Mineral Claims in Quebec, Files Patent Application
Battery X Metals (BATX.CN) said Tuesday that it has elected not to renew the expired mineral claims comprising the Reservoir-Dozois and Leaf River projects in Quebec.The company said the decision reflects its disciplined approach to capital allocation and its focus on advancing high-priority exploration assets, including the Y lithium project in Saskatchewan.Battery X said it also continues to advance its AI-powered critical battery metals exploration initiatives in Nevada under a partnership with TerraDX Discoveries.Separately, Battery X said it filed a final international patent application under the patent cooperation treaty for its next-generation lithium-ion battery diagnostics and rebalancing technology platform.The patent application claims priority rights from two previously filed U.S. provisional patent applications.
