Thinkific Labs (THNC.TO) after trade Monday said it swung to first-quarter loss, higher revenue and appointed Leigh Ramsden as chief financial officer.Ramsden will take over on June 1 and will be replacing Kevin Wilson, who served as interim CFO. Wilson will remain with the company, resuming his position as senior finance advisor, according to the statement.The company lost US$1.1 million, or US$0.02 per share, compared with net income of US$401,000, or US$0.01 per share, a year ago. FactSet expected per share loss of US$0.02.Revenue rose to US$18.7 million from US$17.8 million a year prior. Propel Holdings Q1 Profit Dips, Revenue Tops Estimates; Dividend Raised

Propel Holdings (PRL.TO) on Monday reported a drop in first-quarter adjusted income despite higher revenue that exceeded analysts' estimates, and hiked its dividend.The digital lender and fintech company said its adjusted profit, excluding most one-time items, dropped 1.7% to US$23 million, or US$0.54 per share, from US$23.4 million, or US$0.55, in the prior-year period. The result exceeded the consensus analyst estimate of US$0.51 per share, according to FactSet.Propel's revenue rose by 20% to US$166.1 million in the quarter, compared to US$138.9 million in the prior year period, surpassing FactSet's below the US$164.3 million forecast.It also said its board of directors raised its dividend from C$0.90 to C$0.96 per share on an annualized basis, effective in the second quarter, the company's eleventh consecutive quarterly dividend increase."Looking ahead, we remain focused on executing our growth strategy. We are expanding into new states in the U.S., introducing new products and adding new marketing partners and channels to scale originations further, while leveraging our AI-powered platform to support continued credit performance.," said chief executive Clive Kinross. RB Global Rises After Q4 Beat; Raises 2026 GTV, EBITDA Outlook

Services revenue stayed flat to US$78.9 million, while inventory sales revenue rose 32% to US$336.9 million, a statement said.For 2026, RB Global expects total gross transaction value growth of 6% to 9%, up from its prior outlook of 5% to 8%. Gibson Energy Swings to First-quarter Loss; Dividend Declared

Gibson Energy (GEI.TO) after trade Monday said it swung to a first-quarter loss "primarily due to unrealized losses from financial hedges that support underlying physical assets, restructuring costs incurred during the quarter, and higher depreciation, amortization and impairment charges, partially offset by lower income tax expense".The oil infrastructure and marketing company had net loss of $1.4 million, compared with net income of $50 million a year ago. Per-share results were not disclosed.Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter ended March 31 stood at $139.1 million, down from $142.2 million a year prior. The company said the drop was "a result of higher general and administrative expenses, partially offset by higher adjusted EBITDA from Infrastructure and Marketing segments".The company also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.45 per share, payable on July 17 to shareholders of record at the close of business on June 29."The completion of the Chauvin acquisition, sanctioning the Hardisty Connection project and our internal restructuring represent key milestones achieved this quarter in advancing the growth strategy we outlined at our Investor Day in December," Chief Executive Officer Curtis Philippon said, adding that, "recent geopolitical events further reinforce the importance of growing reliable North American energy supply. Gibson's operations are well positioned to enable our customers in meeting this global energy need."The company's shares closed up $0.28 to $30.18 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Canadian Pacific Kansas City sets new April monthly grain records

Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CP.TO, CP) on Monday said it set a April record for shipments of Canadian grain and grain products, moving 2.9 million tonnes (MMT) last month, surpassing the previous tonnage record set in April 2020.Last month's 30,381 carloads also set a new April monthly record, beating the previous high set in April 2020, the company said.First quarter totals of 7.2 MMT beat the previous record quarter reached in the first quarter of 2021. Through the first 38 weeks of the 2025-2026 crop year, CPKC transported more than 21.9 MMT of Canadian grain and grain products, said the company adding these are the largest Canadian grain totals since the record setting 2020-2021 crop year."We have started 2026 with a record first quarter for the movement of Canadian grain and have set monthly records in three of the first four months of the year as we move a record grain crop across Western Canada," said Elizabeth Hucker, vice-president sales and marketing bulk. Xcite Uranium Expands Beaver River Project

Xcite Uranium (XRI.CN) has "accepted" two dispositions recently acquired by staking in the Uranium City area, northern Saskatchewan, the company said on Monday.The two dispositions fall within an Area of Mutual Interest (AMI) and as such, will become included in the Beaver River project, increasing the project size by 1469.7ha to a total of 4502.4ha, the company added, while noting the Beaver River uranium project located 40km SE of Uranium City, Saskatchewan, hosts near surface high grade uranium mineralization."Beaver River was one of the projects covered by a 2025 VTEM plus airborne geophysical survey carried out by Geotech Airborne Geophysical Surveys. "The survey results have been received and are being interpreted and modelled to identify addition target areas for 2026 fieldwork, leading to fall 2026 diamond drilling," the company said.Shares of the company were last seen unchanged at $0.16 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
