York Space Systems to Acquire Space Solar Technology Company Solestial

York Space Systems (YSS) agreed to acquire Solestial in a transaction that includes up to 2.35 million shares of company stock and an additional cash payment, York said in a regulatory filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday.The company said it signed the merger agreement on May 15 and expects to complete the acquisition in Q2.Financial terms beyond the mix of stock and cash consideration were not disclosed.The transaction is expected to bring Solestial's space solar manufacturing capability into York Space Systems' supply chain and to support greater control over critical spacecraft power components, York said in a separate statement.Price: $24.63, Change: $-1.29, Percent Change: -4.98%
