Xanadu Quantum Technologies Announces $300 Million Synthetic At-The-Market Program

Xanadu Quantum Technologies (XNDU.TO) has entered into a synthetic at-the-market equity facility for up to $300 million with YA II PN, Ltd (Yorkville Advisors), the company said on Thursday.It is not clear if the figure is in USD or CAD.The program provides Xanadu with the ability, but not the obligation, to issue and sell to Yorkville Advisors up to $300 million of its Class B subordinate voting shares in private placements over a term of three years, subject to certain limitations and conditions in the Standby Equity Purchase Agreement between Xanadu and Yorkville Advisors dated May 20, 2026 (the SEPA), said the company."The Company expects to access the Program opportunistically, based on prevailing market conditions and valuation levels it believes to be favorable to shareholder value," said the company.The program consists exclusively of treasury offerings by the company, with no secondary sales by existing shareholders, stated the company."In connection with the launch of the Program, the Company plans to file a registration statement on Form F-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC"), to qualify the re-sale of shares issued pursuant to the Program by Yorkville Advisors in accordance with applicable U.S. securities laws," added the company.Any net proceeds from the program will be received directly by the company, it said, and added that it plans to use the net proceeds, if any, for working capital and general corporate purposes."The Program will provide us with efficient and flexible access to capital as we continue scaling and executing on our long-term roadmap towards fault-tolerant quantum computing," said Michael Trzupek, Chief Financial Officer of Xanadu. "Our objective is to strategically and prudently tap the equity market to enable us to remain well-positioned to fund our growth strategy."

Xanadu And EV Group Partnering To Build Industrial-Scale Photonic Quantum Hardware; Comes After XNDU Fell 61% on Monday

Xanadu Quantum Technologies (NASDAQ: XNDU) (TSX: XNDU), a photonic quantum computing company, has formed a strategic partnership with EV Group (EVG), a supplier of wafer bonding and lithography equipment, to "develop critical heterogeneous integration and wafer bonding processes to facilitate the scalability of photonic quantum systems", the company said MondayThroughout this partnership, Xanadu and EVG expect to utilize EVG's industrial manufacturing tools to fabricate the specialized chips used in Xanadu's photonic quantum computers, with the goal of accelerating the progression of quantum computing chip manufacturing from the lab to high-volume production, it added.This comes after Investor's Business Daily reported Xanadu stock had plunged Monday after the quantum computing firm registered nearly 294 million shares for resale in a move related to its SPAC merger.Shares in XNDU fell $29.83 or 61% to $19.06 in Canada yesterday.

Xanadu, Oak Ridge National Laboratory Advance Quantum Computing Research

Xanadu Quantum Technologies (XNDU.TO) collaborated with the U.S. Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Laboratory to advance research in quantum computing, Xanadu said Wednesday.The partnership will be leveraging Xanadu's open-source quantum software library, PennyLane, on the Frontier supercomputer, one of the most advanced computing systems in the world, Xanadu said.Users of Frontier and the broader Oak Ridge Leadership Facility community can now utilize PennyLane to write and execute quantum programs directly on the Frontier supercomputer using PennyLane's high-performance Lightning simulator, according to Xanadu.With the ability to run PennyLane on Frontier, researchers can now explore complex problems and identify performance bottlenecks that are not present within smaller simulations, Xanadu said."PennyLane was designed to provide an accessible user interface, support hybrid classical-quantum programs, and integrate with high-performance simulators - all features that complement Frontier's classical supercomputer," Xanadu Founder and Chief Executive Officer Christian Weedbrook said.Price: $36.40, Change: $-1.16, Percent Change: -3.09%
