Western Uranium Reports Over a 40% Grade Increase in the Final Assays of Uranium Deliveries

Western Uranium & Vanadium (WUC.CN) on Tuesday said it completed its uranium ore delivery program from the Sunday Mine Complex to Energy Fuel's (EFR.TO) White Mesa Mill in Utah.Post-processing assays performed by Western's customer showed natural uranium grades were more than 40% higher than the initial probe estimates at delivery, leading to a significantly larger final payment to Western, the company said."We are extremely pleased with the results of the Uranium Ore Delivery Program" said Chief Executive George Glasier. "The material increase between our probe-indicated grades and the final chemical assay results is a strong testament to the quality of Western's mineral resources at the Sunday Mine Complex."Western Uranium shares were last seen down C$0.03, or 5.4%, to C$0.53, on the Canadian Securities Exchange.Price: $0.53, Change: $-0.03, Percent Change: -5.36%
