Union Power Advances Drill Program For Slovakia Manganese Deposits

Union Power Metals (UPPR.CN) advanced preparations for its drill program at two manganese deposits in Slovakia, the company said on Monday.The program's main aim is to evaluate the metallurgical and battery-grade manganese potential of the district, and verify historical results, a statement said.Union Power also confirmed that exploration activities at its uranium assets in Botswana are on schedule.The company has already completed airborne survey work over the project area.Union Power shares edged up C$0.005, to C$0.12, on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
