J-Power Receives Shareholder Proposal on Investment, Climate Disclosures

Electric Power Development (TYO:9513) (J-Power) said it received shareholder proposals calling for enhanced disclosure on investment decisions and climate-related risks, according to a Thursday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.The proposals, submitted by two shareholders for the June annual meeting, seek additions to the articles of incorporation requiring disclosure of an investment framework and analysis of emission reduction costs across major projects.
