Hikari Tsushin to Make IC Corporation Unit via Share Exchange
Hikari Tsushin (TYO:9435) said it will acquire full ownership of IC Corporation (TYO:4769) through a share exchange, according to a Monday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.The deal values each IC Corporation share at 217 Hikari Tsushin shares, with about 21,700 shares to be issued, and is set to take effect May 15.The company said the move will strengthen its corporate sales capabilities by integrating IC Corporation's strengths in IT and telecommunications equipment.
