Dai Nippon Printing Launches Tender Offer for Austrian Smart Card Firm AUSTRIACARD
Dai Nippon Printing (TYO:7912) has published the offer document for its public tender to acquire all ordinary shares of Australian-listed AUSTRIACARD, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.The offer price is set at 10 euros per share on a cum-dividend basis, with the initial acceptance period running 10 weeks from June 12 to Aug. 21.Dai Nippon Printing expects to complete the acquisition by September, after which AUSTRIACARD, a payment card and security printing firm operating across Europe, Africa, and North America, will become a consolidated subsidiary.The settlement remains contingent on receiving certain regulatory approvals under foreign direct investment and competition laws, and the timing may shift depending on when those approvals are granted.
