Copro Technical Staff Surge Lifts Utilization Rate in March

Copro Holdings (TYO:7059) said its technical workforce rose sharply at the end of March, with utilization rates improving, according to a Wednesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.Total technical employees increased to 7,629, up by 2,768 from a year earlier and by 2,217 from the previous month. The number of active technicians rose to 7,194, while the utilization rate edged up to 94%.Growth was driven by the construction technician dispatching business, including the addition of TRYT Engineering. The mechanical, electrical and semiconductor segment also posted modest gains in headcount and utilization.
