Midac to Expand Kanto Landfill Capacity to Meet Kanto Waste Demand
Midac's (TYO:6564) consolidated subsidiary, Taihei Kosan, plans to expand its Otsukayama Clean Center in the Kanto region by adding roughly 1.3 million cubic meters of landfill capacity, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.The move follows recent capacity expansions at two other group sites and the resumption of waste intake at Taihei Kosan after construction work was completed.This expansion aligns with the group's vision to broaden its footprint in the Kanto area, where waste generation is consistently high.
