UBE to Receive 37 Billion Yen Dividend from Cement Affiliate
UBE (TYO:4208) expects to collect over 37 billion yen in dividends from affiliate Mitsubishi UBE Cement, with payment scheduled for June 30, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.Since the payer is an equity-method investee, the dividend will not affect earnings for either the first quarter or the full fiscal year ending March 2027. Rather, the amount will be recognized as a reduction in the investment's book value on the consolidated balance sheet.
