Sekisui Jushi to Book 2.16 Billion Yen Gain from Shikoku Kasei Shares Divestment
Sekisui Jushi (TYO:4212) expects to record a gain on sale of investment securities of 2.16 billion yen in the fiscal second quarter from the divestment of all its nealy 1.3 million common shares in Shikoku Kasei (TYO:4099).The shares were sold to Daiwa Securities at 1,976.08 yen per share, generating total proceeds of 2.50 billion yen, with delivery scheduled for Sept. 16, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.The sale is part of the secondary offering of Shikoku Kasei's common shares.The gain has been partially incorporated into the company's consolidated forecasts for the interim and full-year results disclosed on July 30.
