Kewpie Repurchases 2.46 Billion Yen Worth of Shares in June
Kewpie (TYO:2809) repurchased 604,600 shares of its common stock for an aggregate purchase price of 2.46 billion yen during the month of June, according to a progress report filed Wednesday with the Tokyo Stock Exchange.The repurchases were conducted through market purchases between June 1 and June 30 on the Tokyo Stock Exchange under the 10 billion yen share buyback launched on January 15.The program runs through November 30 and includes the repurchase of 4 million shares, equivalent to 2.87% of its outstanding shares, excluding treasury stock.
