Mixi to Acquire GREE Fund Investments and Stake in GREE LP Fund for a Total of 1.03 Billion Yen
Mixi (TYO:2121) has agreed to acquire all shares of GREE Fund Investments from GREE Holdings for 30 million yen, renaming it MIXI Capital Management, and to acquire a 996 million yen limited partnership interest in GREE LP Fund JP 2, which will be renamed MIXI LP Fund 1.The newly acquired subsidiary will become the general partner of the target fund, making the fund a subsidiary of MIXI and, given its capital commitment exceeding 10% of MIXI's capital, a specified subsidiary.The transaction, scheduled for completion on July 31, is aimed at strengthening MIXI Group's investment portfolio management framework, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.
