Mitsui DM Sugar to Book 4.12 Billion Yen in Extraordinary Loss on Doubtful Accounts for Subsidiary Loan
Mitsui DM Sugar (TYO:2109) expects to record an extraordinary loss of 4.12 billion yen as a result of provisions for doubtful accounts for subsidiaries and associates in its non-consolidated financial statements for the fiscal year ending March.The provision relates to loans extended to the company's consolidated subsidiary, SIS'88, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Tuesday.Although this allowance will be recognized in the non-consolidated results, it will be eliminated in the consolidated financial statements.
