Tuya Smart Participates in AI Toy Maker Robopoet's About $15 Million Pre-A Funding Round
Tuya Smart (TUYA) participated in artificial intelligence toy maker Robopoet's recently completed 100 million renminbi ($14.8 million) pre-A funding round, the company said Tuesday.Existing investors Sequoia China and GSR Ventures as well as two new investors also joined the financing round.Tuya said Robopoet's debut AI toy, Fuzozo, had achieved cumulative domestic sales of nearly 300,000 units as of June.Shares of Tuya were down more than 2% in pre-bell activity on Tuesday.
