ASMedia Technology to Buy iCatch Technology Stake Worth NT$400 Million
ASMedia Technology (TPE:5269) will acquire 10 million shares of iCatch Technology (TPE:6695) through a private placement for NT$400 million, according to a Tuesday Taiwan Exchange filing.Shares gained about 2% in Wednesday's afternoon trade.Following the deal, the company's cumulative holdings in iCatch Technology will rise to 14.3 million shares, representing a 13.43% stake, with a total investment of NT$477.4 million.The privately placed shares will be subject to a three-year lock-up period before they can be publicly listed and traded, the company said.
