Edison Opto Sets Record Date for Capital Reduction
Edison Opto (TPE:3591) set Sept. 18 as the record date for its cash capital reduction and share exchange.The plan will return NT$1.0317 per share in cash to shareholders and will reduce the optoelectronics company's share capital to 130.4 million shares from 145.4 million shares, according to a Tuesday filing with the Taiwan bourse.Old shares will trade until Sept. 9. New shares will start trading on Sept. 21.
