Winmate Clarifies Report Forecasting Quarterly Growth
Winmate (TPE:3416) said a media report projecting that its performance would improve quarter by quarter and maintain a 20% growth target was based on market speculation, according to a Wednesday Taiwan Exchange filing.The rugged computer manufacturer said it had not disclosed any information supporting the report and that the claims published by Economic Daily News were not based on company announcements.The company did not provide any additional guidance on its business outlook.Shares of the company were up 4% in recent trade.
