Optimax Says Executive Has Not Received Formal Indictment in Lite-On Insider Trading Case
Optimax Technology (TPE:3051) said reports that its assistant vice president, Johnny Ma, was indicted in an insider trading case involving Lite-On Technology are based solely on other media reports and have not been formally confirmed.The company said Ma has not received any indictment, related judicial documents or formal written notification from prosecutors or a court confirming that he has been indicted.Optimax said it will continue monitoring the case and disclose material information once formal details become available.Shares of Optimax were down over 1% in afternoon trade Friday.
