Cheng Loong Clarifies Media Report Projecting Performance, Revenue
Cheng Loong (TPE:1904) said a media report that the company is expanding production capacity to secure major orders from the technology and electronics industry and could post record annual revenue was based on institutional investors' forecasts.The industrial paper manufacturer responded to a report in the Commercial Times that said the third paper machine at its Vietnam unit began operations in July and that full-year revenue could challenge a record NT$45.5 billion.Cheng Loong said the report reflected investors' projections rather than information provided by the company.
