Hota Industrial Refutes Media Revenue Projections, Clarifies No Official Forecast Issued
Hota Industrial Mfg. (TPE:1536) has moved to squash market speculation following a recent media report concerning its full-year financial trajectory.The company clarified an Economic Daily News report that quoted its chairman as saying the company's full-year revenue could grow 5% to 10%, according to a Thursday filing on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.Hota Industrial Mfg said it has not issued any financial forecasts and advised investors to refer to information disclosed on the Market Observation Post System for its financial and business information.The company's shares were down more than 1% in recent trade.
