Hong Yi Fiber Ind Reports Power Outage Due to Damaged Transformer
Hong Yi Fiber Ind (TPE:1452) said a rodent infestation damaged a transformer, causing a power outage at its Yingge factory on Aug. 2, according to a Monday Taiwan Exchange filing.The company said it activated emergency response measures immediately after the incident and confirmed that all employees were safe.Factory equipment has been temporarily shut down, with restoration work underway and expected to be completed within five to six days.Hong Yi Fiber said the financial impact from equipment repairs and production disruptions is still being assessed.
