Tonix Pharmaceuticals Reaches Medicare Coverage Deal for Fibromyalgia Treatment

Tonix Pharmaceuticals (TNXP) has reached a managed Medicare agreement for its fibromyalgia therapy Tonmya, effective Jan. 1, 2027, the company said Monday.Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain disorder.The deal brings approximately 9 million additional Medicare customers under coverage, the company said.It will bring total pharmacy coverage for Tonmya to 145 million covered lives, the company said.Tonix also plans to add 50 new sales representatives by mid Q3, bringing its total sales force to approximately 150 people, the company said.Shares of the company were up 3.9% in recent premarket trading.
