Thor Energy Selects Contractor for 2D Seismic Survey at Australian Hydrogen Project

Thor Energy (THR.L) tapped Velseis Pty to conduct a 2D seismic survey at its 80.2%-owned HY-Range natural hydrogen exploration project in Australia, according to a Wednesday release.The onshore 2D seismic survey program will target the highest-priority zones within the Torrens hinge zone and acquire 464 line-kilometres of data across the project between the third and fourth quarters of 2026.The Australian seismic acquisition and processing contractor will focus on the highest-priority zones.Thor Energy plans to fund the program from existing cash resources and said it will move to a full operational contract in the coming weeks.
