Toogood Gold Stakes 44 Claims to ExpandsTable Mountain Project; Shares Up 8.7%
Toogood Gold (TGC.V) staked 44 additional Bureau of Land Management lode claims at its Table Mountain Gold-Silver Project in Lincoln County, Nevada, it said Monday.The additional claims increase Toogood Gold's Table Mountain project to 228 claims that account for approximately 1,902 hectares. This adds new priority ground for the Phase 2 target evaluation and follow-up exploration, the company said in a news release.Phase 2 exploration is expected to start in July. It will include approximately 20 line-kilometres of controlled-source audio-frequency magnetotellurics and targeted follow-up prospecting, rock sampling and geological mapping, Toogood said."The additional claims secure more than 10 kilometres of cumulative interpreted strike length across two priority structural corridors and provide additional high-priority ground for immediate evaluation," said Chief Executive Officer Colin Smith.
