Solarmarkt Pairs Hungarian Solar Plants With Battery Storage Using Stem's PowerTrack EMS
Solarmarkt Group and EPC partner Pannonwatt are adding 160 megawatt-hours of battery storage to Hungarian solar assets using Stem's (STEM) energy management software, targeting commercial operation by September, Stem said on Wednesday. The projects will add a 40 MW / 80 MWh battery energy storage system to each of Solarmarkt Group's existing 60 Megawatt-peak solar facilities in Szihalom and in Hodmezovasarhely, creating fully-integrated hybrid renewable assets.Under a five-year agreement, US-based Stem will expand its existing PowerTrack architecture across both sites to unify solar generation, battery dispatch, grid interconnection, and market scheduling into a single software platform, it said.
