Southern Energy Spuds Test Well at Williamsburg Field in US
Southern Energy (SOUC.L) spudded the Terrible Creek 21-2 #2 Cotton Valley test well at the Williamsburg Field in the US.The US-focused natural gas producer, which has a 50% working interest in the well, expects drilling to reach a depth of 19,000 feet, according to a Wednesday release.The well is the first of two farm-out commitment wells planned in 2026.
