Stolt-Nielsen, Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha's Joint Takeover of Avenir LNG Secures EU Nod
The European Commission cleared the takeover of liquefied natural gas company Avenir LNG by logistics, aquaculture, and distribution group Stolt-Nielsen (SNI.OL) and Japanese logistics company Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha.The regulator said Tuesday that the deal would not raise competition concerns due to the venture's negligible activities in the European Economic Area.
