Americas Gold and Silver (USA.TO) has reached an agreement with Sprott Mining (SII.TO) to terminate the remaining obligation under a silver delivery agreement in exchange for Americas shares, the company said on Friday.Under the agreement, the remaining 592,000 ounces of silver under the silver delivery agreement will be terminated in exchange for 8.0 million Americas common shares issued at a deemed price of US$5.57 per share.The elimination of the silver stream agreement removes over $45 million in variable future debt obligations.

Sprott Price Target Raised to $230 at RBC

RBC Capital Markets raised its price targets on Sprott Inc. (SII.TO, SII) to $230 from $218 on Thursday.Analyst Bart Dziarski maintained an Outperform rating on shares of the Toronto-based alternative asset manager following its quarterly results on Wednesday.The stock rose $34.27, or approximately 20%, to $207.65 on the Toronto Stock Exchange."Momentum continues across Sprott's business lines, highlighting embedded operating leverage to constructive commodity pricing compounded by net inflows accentuated by adjusted EBITDA margin reaching 72%," Dziarski said in a note to clients.

Sprott up 6.5% in U.S. Pre-Market as Q1 Net Income More Than Doubles

Sprott (SII.TO), up 6.5% in New York trade on last look, said on Wednesday that first quarter net income more than doubled.Net income rose to US$29.2 million, or US$1.13 per share, from US$12 million, or US$0.46 per share, in the prior year period. The higher earnings was mainly due to higher average assets under management (AUM) in its exchange listed products and managed equities segments as well as carried interest crystallization in its private strategies segment. These increases were partially offset by higher stock-based compensation expense as Sprott's stock price appreciated 46% in the quarter, versus 6% in the first quarter of last year.Net fees nearly tripled to US$93.8 million for the quarter, from US$35.9 million in the previous corresponding quarter.AUM rose 9% to US$65.1 billion as at March 31, from US$59.6 billion as at Dec. 31, 2025, the company reported.The company will pay a quarterly dividend of US$0.40 per share on June 3, to shareholders of record at on May 19.Sprott shares were last seen up US$8.23, to US$135.00, in U.S. pre-market trading.

Sprott Physical Copper Trust Updates US$500 Million At-the-Market Equity Program

Sprott Asset Management has updated its at-the-market equity program to issue up to US$500 million of units on behalf of Sprott Physical Copper Trust (COP-UN.TO, COP-U.TO), the company said late on Monday.The update was made in connection with the listing of the units of the trust on the New York Stock Exchange Arca.The trust was created to invest and hold substantially all of Sprott Asset Management's assets in physical copper metal. Sprott Asset Management is a subsidiary of Sprott Inc. (SII.TO).Sales of units through U.S. and Canada agents will be made through "at the market" issuances on the NYSE and the Toronto Stock Exchange at the prevailing market price at the time of sale.Proceeds from the ATM program will be used to acquire physical copper metal in accordance with the trust's objective and subject to investment and operating restrictions.Distributions under the ATM programs in Canada and the U.S. will now be completed in accordance with the terms of an amended and restated sales agreement among U.S. and Canada agents, Sprott Asset Management and the trust.

New Found Gold Up In US Premarket As Announces $205M Funding Package to Advance Queensway Project

New Found Gold (NFG.V) was at last look up 1.6% in US Premarket trade Monday after announcing a $205 million finance package made up of a $100 million bought deal shares financing with lead orders from EdgePoint Investment Group and cornerstone investor Eric Sprott and a $105 million senior secured credit facility with EdgePoint.In a statement it said proceeds will be used to advance the Queensway gold project in Newfoundland.The company will issue 33.8 million shares at $2.96 each, to raise $100 million. The underwriters have also been granted a 15% over-allotment option.New Found Gold has also sealed a deal with EdgePoint for a secured credit facility of up to $105 million. The funds will be advanced in two tranches: $70 million and $35 million. Both tranches will be released when certain conditions are met.In return, New Found Gold will issue non-transferable share purchase warrants to EdgePoint totalling US$9 million: US$6 million worth of warrants will be issued on Tranche 1, which will be exercisable for 2.5 million shares at $3.30 each. The Tranche 2 warrants, totalling US$3 million will be exercisable for shares at a price equal to a 25% premium to the closing price of the shares on the TSX Venture immediately before the Tranche 2 funding date.New Found Gold says the $205 million funding package covers the initial capital expenditures required to bring its flagship Queensway Gold Project-Phase I into production. It added that it will not proceed with the US$75 million secured loan facility and warrants issue with Nebari Natural Resources Credit Fund II, announced in early March.New Found Gold closed up $0.09 or 3.1% to $2.96, on the TSX Venture Exchange on Friday.
