Defu Tech's H1 Profit Soars 581%, Revenue Jumps 74%; Shares Dip 11%
Jiujiang Defu Technology's (SHE:301511) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half soared 581% to 263.5 million yuan from 38.7 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on the weekend.The Chinese copper foil maker's shares dipped 11% during Monday's afternoon trade.Earnings per share surged 583% year on year to 0.42 yuan from 0.06 yuan.Operating revenue jumped 74% to 9.20 billion yuan from 5.30 billion yuan in the previous year.The company proposed to distribute a cash dividend of 1 yuan per 10 shares to shareholders.
