Court Accepts Maxscend Microelectronics Counter Charges Against Murata Manufacturing; Shares Slide 5%
An intellectual property court in Shanghai accepted Maxscend Microelectronics' (SHE:300782) counter-charges against Murata Manufacturing for alleged malicious intellectual property litigation, according to an after-market filing on Tuesday with the Shenzhen bourse.Maxscend is seeking 5 million yuan in damages from Murata, and is asking the defendant to publish a statement on national media clearing Maxscend of the charges.Shares fell 5% during afternoon trading on Wednesday.
