TFC Optical Communication's Q1 Profit Jumps 46%, Revenue Climbs 41%; Shares Down 7%
Suzhou TFC Optical Communication's (SHE:300394) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first quarter jumped 46% year on year to 492.2 million yuan, or 0.63 yuan per share, according to a Tuesday disclosure on the Shenzhen bourse.The attributable profit a year earlier was 337.6 million yuan, or 0.43 yuan per share.Operating revenue climbed 41% to 1.33 billion yuan from 944.6 million yuan in the prior year.The Chinese fiber optic component manufacturer's shares dropped 7% during the morning trade.
