Sino Geophysical Says Drilling Operations of South China Sea's WZ10-11E-1 Exploration Well Completed; Shares Down 4%
Sino Geophysical (SHE:300191) said the drilling and completion operations of an exploration well at the South China Sea has been completed, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Tuesday.The Chinese gas exploration company's shares dropped 4% during Wednesday's afternoon trade.The exploration well, WZ10-11E-1, is part of the Block 22/05 exploration area. The company's subsidiary, Smart Oil Investment, was responsible for the exploration, development and production operations within the contract area.Smart Oil will also begin the drilling operations of another exploration well, WZ10-11W-1, on Thursday, Aug. 13.
