Satellite Chemical's Attributable Profit Jumps 35% in Q1
Satellite Chemical's (SHE:002648) attributable profit rose 35% to 2.12 billion yuan in the first quarter from 1.57 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.Earnings per share at the chemical company increased 34% to 0.63 yuan from 0.47 yuan in the prior-year period.Operating income edged up 2.8% year over year to 12.7 billion yuan from 12.3 billion yuan.Shares decreased 2% during the midday trade on Tuesday.
