Jiangxi Special Electric Motor Advances Low-Altitude Economy Push with New Ventures
Jiangxi Special Electric Motor (SHE:002176) is advancing its low-altitude economy strategy, including plans to establish a research institute, form a joint venture for electric propulsion systems and launch a flight camp in Yichun.The company unveiled an 800-kilogram-class heavy-lift UAV high-voltage direct-drive power system at a signing ceremony, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.The new venture, Weier Tianhe, will be 70% owned by subsidiary Jiangte High-Tech and focus on 40-kilowatt to 140-kilowatt propulsion systems.Jiangxi Special Electric Motor also disclosed a flight camp project integrating testing, training and tourism.Shares of the specialty motors and battery materials maker closed 3% higher Tuesday.
