Huagong Tech's Q1 Profit Jumps 56%, Revenue Rose 27%; Shares Up 4%
Huagong Tech's (SHE:000988) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first quarter jumped 56% to 638.5 million yuan, or 0.64 yuan per share, according to a Saturday filing on the Shenzhen bourse.The attributable profit a year earlier was 409.9 million yuan, or 0.41 yuan per share.Operating revenue rose 27% to 4.27 billion yuan from 3.36 billion yuan in the prior year.The Chinese laser technology company's shares jumped 4% during the morning trade.
