Citic Pacific Special Steel Q1 Profit Up 9%; Shares Fall 4%
Citic Pacific Special Steel (SHE:000708) posted first-quarter attributable net profit of 1.51 billion yuan, up 9.2% from 1.38 billion yuan the previous year.Earnings per share rose to 0.293 yuan from 0.269 yuan, according to a Thursday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.Revenue declined 1.3% year over year to 26.5 billion yuan from 26.8 billion yuan.Shares of the steel producer were down 4% in recent trade.
